Robert Githaiga, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Robert Githaiga is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is very passionate about mental health. He is invested in both clinical expertise and a deeply personal mission: to make compassionate, individualized mental health care accessible to everyone.
With over 10 years of nursing experience as a registered nurse prior to his career as a Nurse Practitioner, Robert has worked across telemetry, rehabilitation, geriatrics, addiction recovery, and inpatient psychiatric care. This broad nursing background has shaped his holistic understanding of health—and built his unwavering belief that there is no health without mental health!
At Proverbs, Robert works with patients, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for a wide range of mental health conditions. He is especially known for his calm, empathetic presence and his ability to make patients feel safe, heard, and respected.
